Summary briefing of the national knife crime plan published April 2026. Protecting Lives, Building Hope is the UK Government’s national plan to halve knife crime within a decade. It sets out a whole‑of‑society approach, drawing on evidence, lived experience, and contributions from the Coalition to Tackle Knife Crime.
